🗓️ 21 October 2026 | 🕓 16:00–18:00 | 💻 Online (videoconference)
📚 The Lexicography on the Road VI lecture and workshop series continues on 21 October 2026 with a lecture by Carlos Valcárcel, entitled “Dictionaries as Learning Artefacts: Insights from Several Experiences”.
🎓 The lecture will examine the dictionary as a learning tool, drawing on a range of practical experiences. It will address how lexicographic resources can support language learning and how they are used in educational contexts. The session will offer an opportunity to reflect on the role of dictionaries beyond reference, as artefacts that shape and accompany the learning process.
🌍 The event forms part of Lexicography on the Road VI, a programme of lectures and workshops organised within the framework of the Erasmus Mundus Master in Lexicography (EMLex) and the Humboldt Research Group at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), with activities scheduled from September to November 2026.
🐍 The series will continue from 26 October to 16 November with the workshop “Python in Different Fields of Natural Language Processing II”, led by Marcos Fernández Pichel and Isaac González López.
✅ The lecture is open to the public.
