The International Congress Lexicography in Spain and Galicia. Weaving networks will be held at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Santiago de Compostela on September 18th, 2020.
The main aim of this event is to share the different research lines being developed in Spain and Galicia in the field of lexicography and new technologies. Therefore, the subject matter is not exclusively limited to the Spanish or Galician language lexicography, but to the lexicography that is developed within these territories, regardless of the languages under study.
The congress is based on the presentation of research lines, as well as projects and lexicographic resources or lexicographic applications (paying special attention to the interoperability of the resources). These lectures will be framed within other more general presentations on the lexicography being developed in Spain and Galicia. The conference will conclude with a round-table discussion on the main challenges, difficulties and needs of today’s lexicography.
